Delicious juicy meatballs. And they look, thanks to yellow corn and red pepper, very pretty. The dish is not high-calorie, only 110 kcal per 100 g (I have one cutlet). You can pamper yourself even if you are losing weight.
Ingredients: lean pork, onion, red bell pepper, canned corn, garlic, water
Cooking method:
Cut the pork into small pieces and pass through a meat grinder. Minced meat, of course, can be bought ready-made, but for those who count calories, it’s better to do it yourself. In the resulting minced meat, add salt, chopped garlic, seasonings to taste. Mix lightly. Cut the onion into medium-sized cubes and add to the meat, mix.
Cut the red bell pepper into small cubes. Add chopped peppers and corn to a cup with meat.
We mix everything thoroughly. Add some water to the mince. We form meatballs. I got 10 pieces of 100-110 grams each.
Fry the cutlets in a well-heated pan over moderate heat for 5 minutes on each side. I do not use breading, only a little vegetable oil. At the end of frying, I steam the cutlets a little - pour a little water into the pan, cover with a lid. 2-3 minutes is enough.
