I opened the bag of cucumbers, and there... this smell. Such a sour, "moldy" (as my grandmother used to say). The smell of many times "fermented" brine. Brrr! Most likely this is due to improper storage. But I'm not talking about that now.

I wanted to throw away these "market" cucumbers. But... I can't throw away food. And I decided. I made pickle with these cucumbers. And it turned out very tasty! No smell, cucumbers are dense, sour and tasty! Like yours. I decided on a salad. But I couldn’t eat salad (this smell... he ruined everything).

And then I realized! I need to try these cucumbers.Yes, pickled barrel cucumbers - in a pot of boiling water!

I just dip the cucumbers into boiling water and let them boil for about three minutes. Then I take the cucumbers out of the pan. They need to be completely chilled!

And that's it! As "brand new")) Dense, not soft (!), sour and tasty. Here it is in a cut:
