Ingredients: pork, potato, large onion, medium carrot, bell pepper, spices for frying meat (hops-suneli, ground black pepper, dried garlic), Bay leaf, Black peppercorns, Vegetable oil, Greens (according to optional), Salt
Cooking method:
Dip meat into hot oil, add spices and fry. When the meat slightly changes its structure, add the onion (2/3 of the total volume), mix and fry for several minutes.
Add coarsely grated carrots and cook until a beautiful ruddy color.
Cut potatoes into a saucepan, put the remaining onion on top, pour the meat, add pepper and mix everything gently. Put the bay leaf and peppercorns, pour water until the ingredients are completely immersed, cover and put on fire.
When the mass boils, turn down the heat, remove the foam from the surface of the broth and cook until the meat and potatoes are ready for about 20 minutes. Season with salt 5 minutes before the end of cooking. Optionally, along with salt, you can add 3-4 tablespoons of canned tomatoes or 1-2 tablespoons of tomato paste.
Serve hot.
