Bigus with beef and sauerkraut

Ingredients: beef (I take a cooked fillet), medium onions, medium carrots, medium potatoes, sauerkraut, salt, ground pepper, peppercorns, bay leaf, vegetable oil for frying meat, dill and parsley (I had frozen)

Cooking method:

Defrost the meat, cut into medium-sized pieces.

Wash, peel and chop onions and carrots. Onion with a medium cube, carrots with straws.

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into medium cubes and set aside for the time being, fill with cold water.

Put the meat in a well-heated pan with high sides and quickly fry until the color changes. At this stage, I add salt to the meat and add ground pepper.

Turn the heat down to medium and add the onions and carrots one by one. Cook vegetables until soft.

Add cabbage, lower the heat and simmer over low heat for about 20-25 minutes. If the juice of meat and vegetables is not enough, you can add a little warm water.

Lastly, add the potatoes and simmer until the potatoes are tender.

5 minutes before readiness, we taste for salt, add peppercorns, bay leaf and herbs.
