Ingredients:

  • flour - 200 g
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • cottage cheese - 150 g
  • sugar - 150 g
  • butter - 100 g
  • raisins - 100 g
  • apple - 1 pc.
  • baking powder for dough - 15 g

Step by step recipe

1. Let's prepare the raisins first.
Wash 100 g of raisins and pour boiling water over them. We leave for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, drain the water and dry the raisins with paper towels.

2. Cut one apple into quarters. We clean each piece of seeds and peel. Cut the prepared apple into small cubes.

3. We knead the dough.
Break 3 eggs into a bowl. We begin to beat the eggs and gradually pour 150 g of sugar. We beat everything until a homogeneous foam.

4. Add 100 g of soft butter to the beaten eggs. Whisk again.

5. Here we pour 150 g of cottage cheese into the dough. Mix again.

6. Pour 200 g of flour into this mixture and immediately pour 15 g of baking powder onto the flour. Mix the dough until smooth.

7. Pour the chopped apple and prepared raisins into the dough.
We mix everything.

8. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. Pour out the excess flour. The diameter of my mold is 22 cm.

9. We shift the dough into the prepared form and evenly distribute it along the bottom.
We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes. If the cake is baked on top, and still raw in the middle, then reduce the temperature to 160 degrees and bake for another 10-15 minutes.

10. Sprinkle the top of the already cooled cake with powdered sugar.

The cottage cheese gives the pie a special tenderness, and the apple makes it moderately moist. Raisins add sweetness to the cake and a special taste. Be sure to cook this cake, it is very tasty.
