I had rice left over from dinner and I decided to cook meatballs in tomato sauce.
Ingredients: minced pork, boiled rice (the same amount as minced meat), small onion, garlic, salt, Italian herbs, pepper, Tomato sauce, tomatoes in own juice, onion, garlic, water, salt, pepper, Italian herbs, vegetable oil for frying
Cooking method:
Mix minced meat with rice, add salt, pepper, Italian herbs. Finely chop the onion, squeeze the garlic through the garlic, mix everything well. Form small balls - meatballs and put them in a baking dish.
We're preparing the sauce. Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in vegetable oil. Cut the tomatoes in their own juice, if necessary. Add to the onion along with the juice. We put salt, pepper, herbs, add some water (150-200 grams). Too thick sauce is not needed, as it will still boil down in the oven.
Pour meatballs with sauce and put in the oven at 200 degrees for 40 - 50 minutes. Time depends on the size of the meatballs and your oven.
