Apple " roses" from puff pastry

Ingredients: puff pastry (not yeast), medium-sized apples, ground cinnamon, sugar, powdered sugar for sprinkling

Cooking method:

Defrost puff pastry to room temperature.

Mix sugar with cinnamon to taste. You can not add cinnamon.

Wash the apples and remove the core. Cut them into small slices (about 2 mm) - the thinner the better. Heat them in the microwave for 3 minutes on medium power. They will not darken quickly and become softer, it will be convenient to twist them.

Roll out the dough a little and cut into strips of the same size.

Sprinkle each strip with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Put apple slices on top of each other on the upper edge, stepping back a little from the edge and not reaching the end of 0.5 mm -1 cm.

Cover apples with the bottom. Fasten the edges. Fold the strip from one end, to the other - around. Pin the edge.

Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Lay out the roses from the dough, keeping the distance between them.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. The time depends on the specifics of your oven.

Cool the finished roses to room temperature.

Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
