Browned, crispy edges of the most delicious bread, creamy pasta with tuna and fragrant sun-dried tomatoes are perfectly complemented by a delicate shade of lavender. Tonight is Italian cuisine. ๐๐ฎ๐น #recipe of the day
Ingredients: tuna (canned), cream cheese (with herbs), halves of sun-dried tomatoes in oil, lavender leaves
Cooking method:
Only the freshest and most delicious bread is suitable for this dish. For example Ciabatta. Cut into slices about 1 cm thick.
Grease each slice a little, on one side, with sun-dried tomato oil. And brown, with this side, in a very hot, dry frying pan.
We get toasty, on the one hand and soft on the other, slices of bread. Place them on a serving platter, crumb side down.
Mix tuna and a few tablespoons of cream cheese with herbs in a small bowl. I don't even add black pepper. Here, it seems to me, any spices are superfluous, everything is already very tasty and self-sufficient.
Spread the resulting paste on bread. Do not be greedy, impose generously and with pleasure. Arrange sun-dried tomato halves on top. Decorate with lavender leaves. It perfectly complements the whole "bouquet".
I have lavender growing on my windowsill and I often add it to different dishes. For decoration and salad, I use young leaves, and for hot dishes, those that are older.
