Ingredients: Salted herring fillet, Turnip onion, Sugar, Citric acid, Boiling water, Dill and black pepper
Cooking method:
Cut the salted herring fillet. I have 3 pieces.
Peel a large onion and cut into half-rings. Pour boiling water over to completely cover the onion. Leave until cool.
When the onion has cooled, drain off the excess water. Add sugar and citric acid, you can lemon juice, but I have a budget option. You can table vinegar. Leave the onion to marinate for 10-15 minutes. Try it, if you like the taste of onions, then it's ready.
Get the onion from the brine, you can use a slotted spoon. Combine with herring, add dill, I have from the freezer, black pepper. Mix well.
Fill with unrefined sunflower oil. The aroma of unrefined oil gives the herring a special piquant taste. Unrefined oil contains fat-soluble vitamins. After 5-10 minutes, when all the components make friends, the dish is ready. Bon appetit🙌.
