Today I'm sharing a quick recipe. I make this "Gata" from store-bought yeast-free dough. So much faster. The butter-nut filling softens during baking and, having soaked the dough, gives it softness and tenderness. The filling is obtained as a cream with a nutty flavor. #games
Ingredients: puff pastry, sugar, flour, plums. butter, vanillin, walnut, egg for greasing
Cooking method:
We take melted (melted) plums. butter. Combine it with sugar and flour until fine crumbs. You can add a bag of vanillin for taste. And now the secret that makes "Gata" fragrant and very tasty. I grind, chop the walnut and add it to the filling. So baking will become even tastier with a nutty flavor.
When the dough has thawed and become soft, roll out the layers. I break one raw egg into a bowl, stir until smooth and grease the rolled dough layer with it.
I pour the filling on the greased layer in an even layer. I wrap the edges a little so that the filling does not spill out. And then I fold it several times to make a long, flat roll. Poke the top with a fork to make strips.
I cut it into equal parts, put it on a baking sheet and grease it with a raw egg.
Bake at temp. 180 gr. until golden brown.
