Ingredients: Croissants, ready-made puff pastry without yeast, a large green apple, powdered sugar seasoning with vanilla and cardamom", egg (for brushing), cinnamon, sugar, fudge, sour cream, ricotta cheese, lemon acids
Cooking method:
First, the frozen puff yeast-free dough must be kept at room temperature for an hour and a half. I use Caesar dough, it rises well and does not burn.
Thawed dough does not need to be rolled out, otherwise it will lose splendor. Before cooking, we only stretch it a little with our hands.
We cut the layers of dough into long triangles, as in the photo. Place a finely chopped apple (peeled and pitted) on the larger side of the triangle.
Sprinkle with sugar or sahzam to taste, as well as powdered sugar with vanilla and cardamom or an appropriate set of seasonings - vanilla sugar, cardamom, powdered sugar.
Roll up the mini croissants, starting from the larger side of the triangle. Whisk an egg in a bowl and brush over the croissants. And bake them in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
Mix the fondant ingredients in a bowl. After turning off the oven, immediately pour the mini croissants with the mixture. And put it back in the oven, close it and leave it like that until it cools.
Sprinkle the finished croissants with cinnamon.
