I must say right away that I don’t pretend to be a kebab recipe, this is an improvisation, so don’t throw slippers at me!
Ingredients: minced chicken or turkey, onion, prunes, yeast-free puff pastry, salt, pepper, spices, sesame seeds for sprinkling if desired
Cooking method:
Prepare minced poultry (you can mix beef and chicken), but personally I prefer turkey. Grind the onion through a meat grinder. Salt, pepper, mix with onions, add spices to taste. We knead well and “knock out” the minced meat (we take the minced meat and throw it into the cup again and so on several times so that the minced meat becomes more uniform and sticky.)
We steam the prunes, if necessary, then we free them from the seeds. We string 2-3 pieces of prunes onto skewers. Then we make a cake from 70-80 g of minced meat and “stick around” prunes on a skewer. Cut the dough into strips about 2 cm wide. We wrap the "kebabs" with each strip, put them on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. We send it to a preheated oven for 40 minutes at 180-170 * degrees, until cooked and browned. Delicious both hot and cold.
