Hearty and easy to prepare cheese soup with green peas is perfect for the daily menu. It turns out very tasty and velvety. This soup is very satiating despite the fact that it is prepared even without broth.
Making this cheese soup with green peas will not take you much time and effort. This is truly a lazy soup, when in 30 minutes you already have a delicious fragrant first course on your table. Green peas can be used fresh or frozen in this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • water - 3 l
  • potatoes - 300 g
  • small noodles - 150 g
  • processed cheese - 2 pcs.
  • peas (frozen, fresh) - 100 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • salt - 1/2 tbsp. l.
  • ground black pepper - to taste
  • bay leaf - 1 pc.

Step by step recipe

1. Pour 3 liters of water into the pan and put on fire.

2. 300 g potatoes cut into small pieces. We put the prepared potatoes in boiling water and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes.

3. Let's prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Cut two melted cheeses into cubes. You can also grate them on a coarse grater.

4. Cut one onion into small cubes.
Three carrots on a fine grater.

5. Cooking vegetable sauté.
Put the chopped onion in a heated pan with a little vegetable oil. Saute until golden. The onion is ready, add grated carrots to it. We pass everything until the carrots are soft for another 2-3 minutes.

6. The potatoes are already half cooked. Salt the soup with about half a tablespoon of salt. Here we pour 150 g of small noodles. Mix everything and cook for about 3 minutes.

7. Put the chopped processed cheese into the soup, mix it so that it dissolves faster. Cheese should be taken of high quality, without vegetable fats, as poor quality cheese may not dissolve in the soup.

8. Pour 100 g of frozen or fresh green peas here and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add the prepared vegetable sauté to the soup.

9. Add bay leaf. And pepper with black ground pepper.
We mix everything. Bring to a boil and turn off the soup.
Soup is ready to serve.

Soup with peas and processed cheese turned out to be very tasty, hearty and fragrant. This soup is very easy to prepare and it is great for the spring menu for every day.
