Egyptian pancakes with egg

Ingredients: For the dough, milk, water, instant yeast, egg, flour, sugar, salt, For the filling, ham, grated cheese, eggs, salt, green onions, Round baking dish

Cooking method:

Cooking dough for pancakes.

Pour water and milk into a bowl, add yeast, egg and beat with a whisk.

Add sugar and salt, sift the flour and mix with a whisk until the lumps disappear.

It turned out to be a soft dough.

Cover the bowl with a towel and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes.

We heat up the pan. Pour batter over it. We fry pancakes in a dry frying pan on one side only. Should make 6 pancakes.

Lay the pancakes on plates with the toasted side down. We are preparing the stuffing.

Cut slices of ham into strips and put them in the center of each pancake. Then add grated cheese.

We fasten the edges of the pancake so that we get a "boat" in the shape of a triangle.

Lubricate the bottom and sides of the baking dish with oil and put the “boats” in it around.

Inside each "boat" pour a whole egg and salt.

We send it to the oven at 180C for 20-30 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped green onions. Bon Appetit!
