Stewed chicken thighs in cheese sauce with the addition of egg noodles is a budget dish, but at the same time hearty and tasty. Ideal for lunch or dinner. I recommend!
Ingredients: chicken thighs, egg noodles (I have Rollton), Druzhba type processed cheese (I like Karat brands), onions, salt, pepper, chicken spices, vegetable oil, water, herbs
Cooking method:
Onion cut into half rings, sauté over moderate heat with the addition of 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and a pinch of salt. Put on a plate. In the pan where the onion was previously fried, add 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and put the chicken thighs cut into large pieces, fry on all sides until golden brown, salt and pepper, and also season with spices for chicken.
Grind the processed cheese on a coarse grater. Pour the fried chicken pieces with boiled water, let it boil. Turn down the fire. Put the browned onion and chopped processed cheese to the chicken.
Salt if necessary. Allow the cheese to dissolve completely, periodically stirring the contents of the pan with a spatula. Lay egg noodles on top, spreading it over the entire surface in an even layer. Turn on the fire and bring the water to a boil.
If necessary, add boiled water to cover the layer of noodles. Season with salt, cover and cook over moderate heat for 5-7 minutes. If the sauce in which the chicken is stewed turns out to be very watery, then you can add 1-2 tbsp. l. wheat flour and mix thoroughly - the sauce will become thicker. When serving, sprinkle the dish with any herbs of your choice.
