Beetroot as in kindergarten. This is one of the popular kindergarten soups that children love and my daughter is no exception, so I had to learn how to cook it at home and for good reason, we ourselves really like it.
Recipe:
- Broth -1.5-2 l.
- Beets - 1 pc. (300 gr.)
- Potatoes -3 pcs. (300 gr.)
- Bulb -1 pc.
- Carrot -1 pc.
- Tomato paste -1 tsp
- Vegetable oil -15 gr.
- Salt -1 tsp
- Sour cream - for serving (or in soup 100 gr.)
COOKING METHOD
boil the beets until cooked (you can do this in advance)
Let's boil the chicken broth
As soon as the meat is ready, we take it out of the pan, put the potatoes in the broth and cook until tender.
Grate the carrots, cut the onion into cubes.
Pour 2-3 tbsp into the pan. vegetable oil, immediately put onions and carrots, add 2 tbsp. broth and fry until liquid evaporates, then add tomato paste, fry for about 1 minute
and add to the broth
grated boiled beets or cut into thin strips and add to the broth
We cook everything together for 5-10 minutes, we try for salt, if necessary, add greens. Close the lid and let it brew.
As the soup is infused, pour it into bowls and be sure to serve with sour cream (sour cream gives sourness)
