Delicious hot dog with crispy potato straws

Cut the hot dog buns in half, but not all the way through. If you don't have special hot dog buns, you can use oblong breakfast buns or a long thin loaf.

  • Lay out the potatoes and fry them on one side.
  • Salt, pepper and mix gently.
  • Fry the potatoes on the other side.
  • Remove the finished potato straws to a plate and fry the sausages in the same pan.

Take a couple of lettuce leaves, put a few slices of pickled cucumber, sausage on them and insert it all inside the bun.
