New Year menu 2020: rabbit in sour cream

Juicy and delicious! The perfect dish for the holiday table.

Ingredients:

rabbit carcass
2 onions
300 ml of cream
Article 0.5. milk
1 cup water
5 Art. l. flour
4 tbsp. l. melted butter
vegetable oil
salt
black pepper powder

Preparation:

1. To cut the rabbit into pieces. Remove from carcasses all the fat, kidneys and lungs.

2. Rabbit to wash and soak in pure cold water for at least 30 minutes.

3. Then dry the pieces of rabbit paper towels or tissues.

4. In the flour, add salt and black pepper. Stir the mixture and dried by a breaded pieces of rabbit.

5. Fry rabbit in melted butter or a mixture of vegetable oil and butter. Fry until a beautiful crust.

6. Put the rabbit in a bowl with a thick bottom. For example, in utyatnitsu or kettle.

7. Onions cut into half rings and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil.

Salt onion and stew for about 10 minutes under the lid.

8. Ready to put a bow on top of the rabbit.

9. Mix cream, milk and water. Beat, a little salt and season with pepper.

10. Pour into a cauldron of rabbit prepared dressing.

11. Cover the bowl with a lid. Simmer rabbit in cream carcass at low heat for about 40 minutes.

Rabbit can be shifted later in a roasting pan or baking sheet and place in hot oven for another 30 minutes, so that there was a beautiful crust.

Serve the rabbit hot.
