I always get a thin and very tasty pita that I cook at home. My whole family loves it and so I have to channel a lot of recipes with him. Pita bread to eat as bread, wrap it in anything to do with him snacks, such as a roll.
Preparation:
We need 1 cup of hot water, but not boiling water. Dissolved in water half teaspoon salt. To the water add the flour, pour that slide.
The hill makes a small indentation and pour 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Knead the dough.
I would also like to say about the meal. I put on the eye, about 2.5-3 cups. Generally you do not need to put a lot of flour, otherwise the dough will be too dense and it is then difficult to roll out thinly.
Knead the dough for a long time - about 10 minutes, no less. It should have an elastic, malleable, but at the same time elastic. Cover it with a napkin and leave it to "rest" for 20 minutes.
Then divide the dough into 8-10 pieces and roll out thinly. Roll out the need so that the dough is almost translucent.
Tip: Since the pita fried in a pan very quickly, the first roll all parts and then fry, otherwise you simply will not have time.
Fried pita bread on both sides in a dry frying pan. As soon as we remove pita bread from the pan, lightly sprinkled with cold boiled water from a spray - as pita bread will be more elastic and delicious.
If you want to fry a large pita bread, then unroll a large circle, lay it on a baking tray and cook in the oven.
