Continuing the theme of domestic preparations for the winter, and so today I have for you a great recipe for apricot in its own juice. The recipe is incredibly simple, no secret ingredients is not here. In general, I tell how I am doing.

Preparation:

1 kg of ripe apricots wash, divide in half, remove the seeds.

Next take two jars of 500 g and spread apricots, sprinkling them with sugar. Sugar will need 300 grams. Several times the bank needs to shake to apricots were close to each other. But it is not necessary to stamp! Remove the jars in the refrigerator overnight.

All the apricots into the banks will not fit, until they, too, will remove in the refrigerator, you will need it later.

The next day, apricot juice will start up, and settle, so more space will remain in the bank. That's where we come in handy, and apricots, which we postponed. We report them. Incidentally, in each jar I put 1-2 pieces of whole apricots with pits. Adding to each jar half a teaspoon of citric acid.

Immediately answer the question: why not fill all the apricots at once, for example, in the pelvis. Answer: falling asleep a small portion of apricots and the sugar stands out a lot of juice, which we need. If you sleep all at once, the juice is not enough. Or have to take more sugar, then you get too sugary and more like a jam.

Now we pour water into the pot, to omit the banks and sterilize 10 minutes in boiling water. That banks are not cracked, on the bottom, place a towel or gauze.
