I channel a lot of mackerel recipes. I just love the fish: it is inexpensive, tasty, also considered one of the most useful, but it's not about that.

By itself, mackerel dryish. It is not suitable for frying. I always bake it or extinguished with vegetables in tomato sauce and others.

But recently I found a terrific way to cook mackerel. This juicy and tender fish I had never eaten.

Necessary ingredients:

Mackerel
Sour cream
Water
Onion
Salt
Pepper

Mackerel (2 pcs) disemboweled, cut into pieces. I usually every fish I cut for 3-5 pieces. Bonito rubbed with salt and pepper.

Now, take 1 cup of sour cream, add to it one medium onion. I love the onion cut into half rings, but can be cut and smaller.

Coated with pieces of mackerel onion cream sauce, put in a pan. Pour one-third cup or so of water, cover with a lid and simmer over medium heat for 40 minutes (until tender).
