Cucumber lecho for the winter - and so you tried?

I tried and I really enjoyed it.

Lecho cucumbers - this is an unusual delicious, moderately spicy and rich, fortified snacks that can be prepared according to the season of fresh vegetables from the garden.

And then I am happy to enjoy all winter, feeding with potatoes, buckwheat, rice, toast, cook borscht from the blank, pizza oven and cook other dishes.

In general lecho - Universal jar of homemade preserves.

Lecho cucumbers for winter - recipe

Ingredients:

1.5 kg of cucumbers
2 kg of tomatoes
1.5 kg of green or yellow bell pepper
1 kg of carrots
1 cup vegetable oil
1 kg of onion
200 gr. Sahara
1 h. l. 70% vinegar
1 tsp allspice peas
1 tsp black peppercorns
bay leaf, clove and other optional seasonings
1 tbsp. l. salt or 1.5 tablespoons (Determined by the taste)

Preparation:

1. Wash all the vegetables for lecho. What you need to clean (carrots, onions).

2. Skip the tomatoes through a meat grinder. It should look exactly 3 cups tomato mass.

3. Bulgarian pepper to clean from the seeds and cut into small cubes. Colored peppers looks very beautiful and appetizing to any workpiece.

4. Carrots grate on medium grater.

5. Onions chop half rings.

6. Cucumbers soak for 2 hours in a cold water, then cut with cucumbers at both sides ends.

7. Boil in a saucepan tomato mass.

8. Pour the salt and sugar, mix, pour vegetable oil and boil for 2 minutes.

9. Add to the boiling mass of carrot, onion and bell pepper.

10. After 20 minutes in the semi-vegetable mass add cucumbers. They can be cut into slices, strips or small pieces.

11. Lecho cook another 20 minutes.

12. Five minutes before the end of the cooking process, pour a spoonful of vinegar and seasoning mix.

The finished lecho hot decomposed into sterilized jars. Turn the sealed jar to cover, wrap a blanket and leave to cool for a day.

Store in a closet or cabinet, the main thing that the place was dark and not very warm.
Amiss in this case, and place under the bed. Lecho shelf life is 2 years.
