Important! Even the most harmless kvass has several percent alcohol, so you should not get involved in them before you get behind the wheel - when checking the road patrol services, it can be revealed.

And now, how to cook - a real brew? The one not from concentrate?

Recipe Kvass home, natural, no yeast bread mash


Ingredients:

2 thick crust of black (rye) bread
1 h. l. sugar (heaped)
2 tbsp. warm water

Preparation:

1. Bread cut into small cubes and fry in the oven. You should not get crackers and crisp and rosy slices. Not burnt!

2. Pour the crumbs in 1 liter jar, add sugar and pour warm water. Stir everything with a spoon, cover with a towel and put in a warm place to a meat must start to wander.

The mixture ferment 1-2 days. Ready starter will have a sour smell and unclear appearance.

3. Further prepare pure 3-liter jar. Pour the resulting leaven therein.
You can add crackers and sugar. The amount of sugar is adjusted to taste.

Top up with more warm boiled water and tighten the top banks gauze.
Remove jars with blanks in a warm and dark place.

About a day kvass "sparkle" and the most jingoistic smell appears.

4. Pour kvass on plastic bottles.

The taste can be added to each bottle a few pieces of raisins.

Lids are well tighten.

When the bottles begin to harden - it started re-fermentation.
Once this happens, remove the brew in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

All - brew is ready! No yeast, dyes or chemicals.
