Very tasty! It is possible as a hot dish with a side dish or cold as a snack. Try it yourself!
Ingredients:
2-3 carcass fresh mackerel
1 large carrot
1 h. l. salt
1 h. l. ground black pepper
2 onions
3 tbsp. l. good tomato paste
5 Art. l. vegetable oil
5 peas allspice
1 PC. carnations
1 h. l. lemon zest
Preparation:
1. Mackerel gut, remove the fins and tail, rinse thoroughly.
Cut the fish into portions pieces.
2. Peel the onions and carrots.
Cut the onion into cubes, not very small. Carrots grate. Better big.
3. Spasserovat onion and carrot in vegetable oil until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
4. The fish with salt and season with pepper and mix.
5. Slices of carrot mackerel put on (do not need to add water) with onions, cover and leave languish on low heat for 10 minutes.
6. To the content of the pan add the tomato paste, pour a little water.
7. At the request put pepper sweet peas, bay leaf and cloves. Dosolit sauce to taste.
8. Very gently mix everything, cover and simmer another 15-20 minutes on very low heat.
9. Leave a mackerel under the cover, after turning off the fire.
Delicious and spicy mackerel, stewed with onion and carrot, ready!
Serve with boiled rice or potatoes as a garnish. Or cold.
By the way, cold mackerel in tomato sauce is very similar to canned fish from a jar.
