How to cook "Korean carrots" at home

Ingredients:

0.5 kg of carrots
5 tooth. garlic
0.5 tsp l. coarse salt
1 tbsp. l. Sahara
0.5 tsp l. ground black pepper
2 pinches ground coriander
2 tbsp. l. vinegar 9%
30 ml vegetable oil

Preparation:

1. Wash the carrots, scrape with a knife, rinse and then grate on a special grater for Korean carrots.

2. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press or grate on a fine grater.
Add salt and sugar to the garlic mass, but do not stir.

3. Also, pour vinegar over the garlic and add pepper and ground coriander. If you prefer a ready-made Korean carrot mix, you can use it. Just remember that there may be salt in it.

You must try not to oversalt the carrots.

4. The vegetable oil must be slightly warmed up in a small bowl and poured over all the spices.
From the heated oil, the spices will begin to give off aroma and will sizzle a little, and after that, you need to mix everything well.

5. Pour the mixture over the carrots, stir and mash a little with your hands. Close the dish with a lid and put it in the refrigerator for about 3-4 hours.

6. Serve ready-made Korean carrots as an appetizer or use for salads, snacks, soups, baked goods.
