Capelin in the oven in foil: we cook in its own juice and without fishy smell

Very tasty fish turns out! And cold is even better! Almost hot smoked capelin will be cooked in this way.

Ingredients:

1 kg fresh capelin
1 hour l. salt without a slide
three pinches of ground black pepper
lemon
vegetable oil

How to cook:

1. Remove the zest from the lemon with a grater; you need a powder or paste from the zest. And also squeeze the juice from half a lemon.

2. Sort the capelin and wash. Dry a little on a wire rack or napkins.

3. Sprinkle the fish with lemon juice, stir and leave for 10 minutes.

4. Loan capelin with salt, season with ground pepper and lemon zest. Let the fish marinate for another 10-15 minutes.

5. Pour 3-4 tbsp into a bowl of fish. l. odorless vegetable oil. Mix.

6. Cover a baking sheet with 2-3 layers of good foil so that it does not leak.

7. Carefully arrange the cakes so that they do not lie in a heap. It is necessary to lay out each fish separately.

8. Cover the baking sheet with one sheet of foil and place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 10 minutes.

9. Carefully remove the top foil and return the pan with fish to the hot oven for another 10-15 minutes so that it is golden.

The capelin is ready in the oven! And absolutely no fishy smell! The meat will easily come off the central bone and taste very tender.
