"Napoleon" snack cake with mushrooms and potatoes
Ingredients:
500 gr. puff pastry
champignons
onion
boiled potatoes
mayonnaise
soft cream cheese
sour cream
dill
butter
How to cook:

1. Chop the onion into cubes and fry with the chopped mushrooms in butter. Season with salt, pepper to taste, cool.
2. Combine mushroom frying with mashed potatoes (you can grate potatoes). Salt.
3. Mix finely chopped dill with soft cream cheese, add a little mayonnaise or sour cream with mustard.
4. Defrost the puff pastry, roll out, cut into 4 pieces and bake them in the oven, pre-pricked with a fork.
5. Lubricate the skins with different fillings (potatoes with mushrooms or cheese with dill). Assemble the cake by stacking the cakes on top of each other.
6. Remove the cake in the refrigerator for soaking. Decorate as you wish.
There are many variations on the Napoleon diner theme, you can use various products for the layer:
fried carrots with onions
boiled or smoked chicken
ham, sausage
boiled eggs
cheese with garlic
canned fish
red fish, caviar
any fresh or stewed vegetables
olives, olives
And for juiciness, you must definitely take sour cream or mayonnaise.
The cake tastes better when soaked and cooled in the refrigerator. That is, before serving, there should be at least a couple of hours for cooling.
Otherwise, such a cake is a great option for a festive snack!
