Cabbage pancakes: a simple and satisfying dish for lovers of vegetable pancakes

Cabbage pancakes are just as good as potato pancakes. Only they are not so satisfying. But men love them very much, appreciate them and eat them in huge portions. No sour cream or mayonnaise. Sometimes straight out of the pan.

Ingredients:

young cabbage 1 head of cabbage
2-3 eggs
0.5 tsp l. salt
ground pepper to taste
vegetable oil

How to cook:

1. Chop the cabbage into very thin strips. You can grate it on a coarse grater, but for young cabbage it is best to use a special shredder knife with two blades - the cabbage from under it turns out like a cobweb.

2. Pour salt into the cabbage and rub it with your hands a little. You can add a little ground black pepper.

3. Beat 2-3 chicken eggs in a bowl. No salt, just beat.

4. Pour the egg mixture over the cabbage, mix and leave for 5-10 minutes.

5. Preheat a frying pan, pour in 1-2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

6. Stir with a spoon again and put the cabbage in the form of pancakes in the pan.

You can add grated sausage or sausage to the cabbage.

7. Fry without a lid on both sides for 3-5 minutes on each side. This time is enough for young cabbage.

8. Transfer the finished cabbage pancakes to a plate and continue to fry another batch.

Well, there’s nothing like that in them: cabbage, an egg and butter. But what this simplest dish is delicious!
