Good day and delicious weight loss!

While everyone is at home and you have to feed the whole family three times a day, I propose to prepare a dish that is suitable for the whole family.

And it will also help out those who did not have enough buckwheat in the store.

Barley with turkey breast ala pilaf.

Tasty, satisfying and wonderful KBZHU!

Everyone will be happy!

✅We need the following ingredients:

  • pearl barley - I have 325 g dry,
  • turkey breast - I have 550 g
  • onions - 1 pc - 90 g,
  • carrots - 1 piece - 120 g,
  • garlic 2-3 cloves - 10 g,
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • a pinch of turmeric
  • 7-8 pieces of barberry, a pinch of cumin or use ready-made seasoning for pilaf.

✅Cooking.

Soak the barley in water for 2-3 hours in advance.

We start preparing products.

Finely chop the carrots and onions, I used a vegetable cutter. You can grate the carrots on a coarse grater, and just finely chop the onion.

Chop the turkey breast into small pieces and finely chop the garlic.

Next, we move on to the stove.

Fry the carrots and onions in a saucepan, adding water so that they do not burn. I use non-stick pans.

When the onion becomes transparent, add the turkey breast and spices to the stewpan - salt, black pepper, barberry, cumin, turmeric.

Mix well.

Fry the breast on all sides.

Then add pearl barley and fill it with water. The water should lightly coat the barley. You can add a little salt.

Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat until the barley is cooked.

At the very end, add the garlic, finely chopped, mix and let the excess liquid evaporate.

That's all!

Enjoy your meal!
