Today I want to share with you a recipe for hot eggplant rolls with cheese and cottage cheese. Very tasty! I myself did not expect that I would like the result so much! And very gentle.

✅Ingredients I used:

  • 2 small eggplants - 495g,
  • cottage cheese 5% - 165g (cottage cheese must be used dry),
  • suluguni cheese - 100 g,
  • tomato paste - 10 g,
  • dry garlic, basil, salt, black pepper, Greek herbs (or any dry herbs of your choice).

✅Cooking.

We start cooking with eggplant.

Cut the eggplants into slices about a centimeter thick.

Sprinkle the sliced ​​eggplants with salt and let stand for a while.

Meanwhile, we are preparing the filling.

We rub suluguni on a coarse grater. 1/4 of the cheese must be set aside.

We mix cottage cheese (it is better to take drier cottage cheese for this dish), suluguni and spices: dry garlic and basil, herbs of Greece, black pepper and add a little salt. The filling is ready.

With such a filling, eggplant rolls are very, very tender and soft. If you want the rolls to keep their shape better, add 1 egg to the filling and do not forget to count the KBZHU.

Wash off the eggplants with water.

Then there are several options. It is necessary to prepare the eggplant plates so that they become soft and you can roll up rolls from them.

I chose the easiest and fastest option for me - I fried the eggplants on the electric grill (without oil).

If there is no electric grill, then you can bring the eggplants to the softness we need in the following ways:

  • fry in a pan,
  • bake in the oven.

We prepare in advance the form in which we will bake the rolls. Mix the tomato paste with 50 ml of water, pour part of the tomato mixture onto the bottom of the mold and distribute.


Put some filling on the eggplant and roll up the roll. We immediately send it to the baking dish


Having laid out all the rolls in a mold, add a little salt, sprinkle with dry garlic, dry herbs, pour over the remaining tomato mixture and sprinkle with the cheese that we have set aside.


We send to the oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve hot! Enjoy your meal!

KBZHU per 100 g of ready-made dish: K - 100, B - 8.8, F - 5.2, U - 4.7.

The electric grill is a super device that, in my opinion, should be in everyone who tries to control their diet and leads a healthy lifestyle. We cook wonderful steaks, fish, vegetables on it without oil.
In addition, the electric grill significantly saves time and the same chicken breast turns out to be very juicy on it in just 5 minutes.

Questions are constantly asked - is it convenient, how often I use it. Very convenient! I use it quite often. I cook cutlets, shawarma, hoot, meat for the family, vegetables, fish steaks. Everything is prepared very quickly, but it turns out juicy.

When choosing an electric grill, pay attention to the fact that there are removable panels! This will simplify your care in the future and will be easier to wash. Also, in my opinion, the simpler the grill, the better.
