Good day to all and delicious weight loss!
Italian classics - spaghetti with tomato sauce.
But the tomato sauce sold in the store is not always tasty and even more healthy.
I suggest you try making homemade tomato sauce, which is suitable not only for spaghetti. How fragrant and delicious it is - be sure to try it!
✅For the sauce you need the following ingredients (2 servings of sauce - increase the amount of ingredients if you need more servings):
- tomatoes 180 g - I have 4 frozen cream (ideally use fresh tomatoes, but I decided to unload my stock of frozen tomatoes),
- garlic - 10 g
- onions - a small onion (I have 55 g).
- salt and black pepper to taste.
- dry basil and sweet paprika - 1/2 teaspoon each.
- 1 sachet of sweetener (use half a sachet or 2 g of sugar, about 1/3 teaspoon).
- a drop of olive oil.
✅Cooking.
The onion must be finely chopped, the smaller the better.
I rubbed the garlic on a fine grater.
Remove the skin from the tomatoes. It is very easy to remove from frozen ones. Cut fresh tomatoes cross to cross and pour over boiling water, then remove the skin.
Finely chop the tomatoes. If you like to feel the tomato slices in the sauce, chop a certain amount a little larger.
The preparatory work is completed and we move on to the stove.
Grease a frying pan with a drop of olive oil and fry the onion in it until golden brown.
Then add tomatoes and garlic to the onion. Stir occasionally. As soon as the liquid has evaporated, add more water.
Salt and pepper to taste. And generously add dried basil and paprika.
In total, I added water 3 times, 100 ml each and simmer for 10 minutes.
At the very end, add the sweetener (or sugar) and mix. I advise you to add sakhzam little by little, stir and try to see if the tomato acid leveled out enough to your liking.
In addition, you can adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding water to your taste.
Serve with durum wheat spaghetti and sprinkle with cheese.
Enjoy your meal!
And if you add minced meat to the sauce and stew - it will be almost bolognese pasta😉
