Yes, buns are primarily carbohydrates. But we will prepare rye buns from whole grain flour, and these are the very slow / complex carbohydrates that the body needs.
✅Ingredients We Will Need:
- 200 g kefir 2.5%
- 1 chicken egg
- 200 g whole grain rye flour
- 100 g whole grain rice flour (or wheat)
- 10 g butter (melt in advance),
- a pinch of salt, 2/3 teaspoon of baking soda.

✅Cooking.
Add soda to kefir at room temperature and stir.
The mixture begins to expand slightly and foam.
Next, add an egg, a pinch of salt and melted butter to the kefir (you must let it cool a little in advance).
Mix everything well.
Gradually add flour to kefir and knead the dough.
Divide the dough into 6 pieces and form buns. I moistened my hands with water to make it easier to work with the dough.
We spread the buns on a baking sheet (the best option is to cover it with a silicone mat - no baked goods stick to it and can be easily removed).
Grease the buns with kefir and, if desired, sprinkle with sesame or flax seeds.
We bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. For baking time, be guided by your oven.
