I must say right away - all my photos, from the family archive, so to speak.
We are not of noble or royal blood, but we cherish the surname. Today we are talking about the male half of our family. I'll tell you about the girls another time, this is a separate story: the grandmother lived to be 106 years old, and the grandma to 78.
So about the men of our kind. I remember my grandfather very well: such a short, bellied, puffing locomotive with an eternal smile. He mastered Chukotka and Kolyma at the end of the 30s.
In the 60s, she and my grandmother moved to the Rostov region and my father lives there to this day.
At the age of 18 I got ready for my first marriage. We came with my future husband to meet my grandfather. Grandfather then already was ill leukemia. He asked if I could continue our surnamebecause there are no boys left on our line, only girls, not married - just me.
We consulted with my future husband and he not refused, because his parents are orphanages and the surname is not sonorous. So another successor of our surname appeared. By the way, after the divorce, he stayed with my last name)
A little more about our kind.
On this photo great-grandfather Mikhail Ivanovich and his grandchildren are great-grandchildren. My folder is right next to my great-grandfather (his grandfather) 👇
There are no comments at all. Many of you can show your great-grandfather's passport? 👇👇👇
Yes, imagine, and these newspapers "live" in my family folder 👇
We have a long marriage with my first husband not lasted. We parted amicably after a year and a half. And a year later I got married a second time. The second husband was an orphanage at all. Therefore the surname agreed take no problem.
Although the grandfather was not alive at that time. The cancer slowly ate it... I didn't suffer, just one day I told my grandmother to set the table for the guests, sat down to watch TV, fell asleep and never woke up.
A son was born with our second husband. And now he the successor of our surname. So I fulfilled my grandfather's will - the surname continues!
And this is my dad at 18 and my son at almost the same age. Similar?
I am very thankful grandfather for what he told me about our family up to the sixth generation. My hands will not reach to make a family tree, but I will definitely do it. You must remember your roots.
Do you know your ancestors and who they were?
