Recently bought eggplants. And since we now have two main chefs in our kitchen: me and my son, each of us cooked his dish.
My son prepared EgglazhoKruglyakhi (I will throw off the link to his recipe below).
I prepared Jellied Eggplant Shawarma. Of course, it was not without meat, but eggplants were in the majority.
🍴 WHAT WAS NEEDED 🍴
* eggplant - 1 piece
* onion - 1 piece
* tomatoes - 2 pieces
* boiled chicken (I have left from broth for okroshka)
FOR FILLING
* kefir - 1/2 cup
* egg - 1 piece

👩🍳 PREPARING 👩🍳
Eggplant cut into slices, sprinkle salt and leave for a few minutes to release the bitterness 👇👇👇
Then we wash the eggplants, cut small cubes. Chicken, tomatoes and onions cut about the same 👇
Fry first eggplants with onions, then add there tomatoes and greens, and last of all chicken 👇
When the filling has cooled down a little, lay out her on sheets of lavash 👇
Wrap envelopes 👇
We lay in portion molds 👇
We do fill and fill in a few spoons on top of each Shawarmeni 👇
We send in a very preheated oven for 30-35 minutes 👇
We get freaky Shawarmen-Baked ☝☝☝
You could, of course, just brown it in a frying pan. But we take easy ways not looking for 😉
Yes, and we love to cook NOT trite and tasty. And in this version it turned out very tasty!
