I no longer grieve about Zen.
I understand that this site is in agony. Attempts to create new formats, or to mold new ones from the old, do not find recognition either from authors or readers. More and more stolen articles, more and more empty publications. More and more talented authors banned.
The resource has run out of resources (sorry for the tautology). The methods by which the algorithm works and secret for all AI (artificial intelligence) are cornered by both novice authors and the authors of TOP channels.
Bans, pessimization, restrictions - these are, perhaps, now the main features of this network.
The punitive measures have become so ridiculous that the authors simply do not understand why and why their articles (unique!) Become clickbait and are not shown in the publication feed.
Here are just a few options by which articles and channels can be blocked:
- clickbait (heading inconsistency with article). That is, in simple terms, if I write: "Come visit, I have the most delicious pies!", Then the title may turn out to be a big question: like, why is it not written, what are the pies from? In addition, Zen is against the calls to go to the article (why I can not advertise my headline own material, I do not understand), against exclamation and question marks, ellipses in headings. Sorry, but why are these punctuation marks in Russian? In my opinion, signs are precisely in order to express emotion. Or am I wrong?
- tragic content - someone died, for example. A friend of mine has a recipe for cutlets with mushrooms under this category (!), Another article about Dorenko (so, what if the person really is gone and everyone knows about it? Yes, a tragedy, but why can't the authors write their thoughts on this score?). I got an article here with a recipe for a duck for Christmas (of course, the duck is a tragedy on a worldwide scale).
- explicit content is if someone has shown "something". Here, too, ridiculously, a blogger friend was banned from the channel in which he wrote about sports. Some articles contained photos of athletes in swimsuits (decent ones!). Everything, no way.
- copy-paste is generally an interesting thing on Zen. I agree that if the author copied someone's article and passed it off as his own, it's not good, it's not good. But, if the author wrote it himself, but posted it first on another site, then goodbye.
- incidents - well, ordinary mortals cannot write about what happened in their village: neither about natural disasters, nor about fights, nor about politics. This is an incident!
- medicine and harm to health - you cannot write not only about some traditional methods of treatment, statistics morbidity, but also about folk and Ayurvedic remedies (no one knows about them, ah-ah-ay you for this).
In order to better understand the whole Zen cuisine, you can re-read a bunch of articles and information, but in the end you will not understand because all the questions boil down to one answer: "oh, it's not us who decide, it's artificial intelligence, it's an algorithm that's all defines ".
However, part (and maybe all) in this algorithm is still decided by living people. And now I am one of them.
I do tasks in Yandex Tolokaand now I understand who and how decides which article is Good, and which is urgently in the trash.
Yes, the authors will forgive me) But in fact, there the decision has already been made for you, and the tolokers simply confirm this and receive a monetary reward for it in baks.
So, if you are an author - I highly recommend going there and puffing over these assignments, they help to understand (and sorryt)) Zen. The tasks are tedious, but very normal for understanding.
Or sorryhang out with Zen. I'm still here on my new channel "Live tasty", which has been marking time for the second month. Impressions are not given (I'm a beginner, eprst). Accordingly, there are no readers and new subscribers. And there is no way to get the cherished 10 thousand minutes of readings.
It seems to me that something is wrong with the math. This is how the average "read-through" (viewing) of a publication can be 34 seconds, if
If 99% of users who visit it have watched it? That is, the video with a duration of almost 4 minutes is viewed somehow especially?
And yet, where do authors run from Zen? Including me.
Authors flee to new site, which was created with the support of Google). And I'm already there too. There are no punitive measures as here, the tape is not fucked up littered with articles rewritten from each other. And the most important thing is that it is fresh, interesting and paid.
I will not make any calls. Think for yourself, decide for yourself: have or will be fucked))
🙏 Good and health to everyone 🙏
