A very simple recipe for making cherries. The most important thing is that you do not need to cook and sterilize anything. The cherries will remain fresh. More precisely, it will be fresh, only with sugar. In general, write down my recipe or share it on social networks so that it will be saved on your page.

Ingredients:

cherries
sugar

As you can see, we do not need anything except, in fact, cherries and granulated sugar. The proportions I have are as follows: for 1 kg of berries, I take 500 grams of sugar.

So, we wash the cherries, put them on a towel and lightly blot them. We do this carefully so as not to damage the berries.

And now the most laborious thing is to remove the seeds from each sweet cherry. Yes, it takes a lot of time, and this work is painstaking. But believe me, the result is worth it - mashed cherries with sugar are just a delight!

Now you need to chop the cherries to a puree state. I do this with a blender. If you do not have it, then you can scroll through a meat grinder.

Add sugar. As I wrote above, I put 0.5 kg. Stir and leave for 1-2 hours at room temperature, covering the container with a lid so that the sugar dissolves.

Then mix again, place in clean, dry plastic containers and put in the freezer. By the way, the inside of the container can be covered with cling film, then it will be easier to get frozen cherries out of it.

Then you just need to defrost, the taste will be the same as if the cherries had just been picked from a branch. You can eat it right with tea, you can add it to compotes and fruit drinks, eat with pancakes and cheesecakes, bake pies - in general will always be tasty and, moreover, healthy, since there was no heat treatment and all vitamins were preserved maximum.
