Horseradish seasoning for the winter. Simple recipe (mixed everything and done)

I share my recipe for horseradish seasoning, which I have been making for the winter for many years in a row. The recipe is simple, without problems, you will spend no more than 20 minutes on preparing the seasoning.

Ingredients:

horseradish
salt
sugar
citric acid
water

Attention: the proportions in this recipe, I indicate 1 kg of horseradish. BUT! 1 kg of seasoning is still not for everyone. You may not need that much, so you can halve the proportions.

Horseradish must be peeled and grated or scrolled through a meat grinder, having previously cut into pieces. In principle, this is the most difficult and time consuming. As soon as the horseradish is crushed, consider almost everything is already done)))

Now add 4 grams of citric acid, 4 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of salt to it.

Now pour 800 ml of cooled boiled water. Stir the mass thoroughly until salt and sugar dissolve, then put it in dry clean jars and seal it tightly.

The seasoning is stored in the refrigerator or in a cool cellar, does not deteriorate at all, I have it perfectly all winter until spring.

TIP: I recommend placing the seasoning in small jars up to 500 grams - this is much more convenient.

The ready-made seasoning can be used for making sauces, added to appetizers, served simply with bread, for example, with borscht - there are a lot of options!
