Today I will tell you how to make the "Golden Pea" salad. I make it for the holidays, I recently cooked it for my husband's birthday - all the guests were delighted!
Ingredients:
Peas
Mushrooms
Apples
Potatoes
Onion
Eggs
Greens
Salt
Mayonnaise
Butter
Vegetable oil
So, we need half a glass of dry peas. Not canned peas!!! Cook the peas until tender. We also cook 4-5 eggs and 2 potatoes.
Finely chop one small onion and fry until light golden brown in vegetable oil. Once the peas are ready, mix them with the fried onions and finely chopped herbs. It turns out very tasty with dill, I always take it. Salt a little to taste.
Fry 150 g of chopped chanterelles in butter until tender. Salt and pepper to taste. If there are no chanterelles, or do not like them - take champignons, honey mushrooms or any other mushrooms. You can also take pickled mushrooms, it will be delicious too.
Now put the salad in a dish or on a flat plate using a serving ring. We have a puff salad:
1 layer - peas with onions and herbs, lightly grease with mayonnaise
2nd layer - mushrooms, some mayonnaise again
3rd layer - grated potatoes, mayonnaise
4th layer - apples (2-3 pcs), grated on a coarse grater, mayonnaise
5 layer - grated proteins
6 layer - crumbled egg yolks
Top the salad can be decorated with a sprig of herbs. We send it to the refrigerator for 3-4 hours so that it has time to soak. And you can serve it on the table. Delicious salad and hearty, try it! Bon Appetit!
