When I come home, I leave the greens in the same form as I brought them. That is, not mine, but immediately put it in the refrigerator. If you wash the dill and parsley right away, they will lose their freshness, wither quickly and generally will not look so appetizing.

Therefore, I wash the greens just before using them. I used to just wash, but now I soak it. I found out about this in some television program, and now I always do this.

There is nothing complicated: just soak the herbs in cold water for 15 minutes. You can "mix" it a little in water. During this time, all debris, dust and particles of earth will settle to the bottom. That is, with this method, the greens are better cleaned. You will be surprised how much debris and dirt there will be at the bottom. In this case, the greens themselves will become more aromatic, and the twigs will become more elastic and juicy.

After that, the water must be drained and you can soak for another 10-15 minutes. By the way, I also recommend adding salt and vinegar to the water in equal proportions - about 1 tablespoon each. This will help disinfect the greens, which is especially important now. After such a "bath" with salt and vinegar, rinse the greens in running water again.

This is my way. Recently, I have been bothering very much with the purity of products brought from the store - I really do not want to pick up a well-known virus.
