I want to share with you a life hack that I myself learned about recently. It turns out that you can peel garlic using a microwave. She herself would never have thought of this, but my mother suggested it to me, she read it in some magazine.

In general, I am of the opinion that it is best to use a press for the garlic and simply squeeze the cloves directly through it, unpeeled. This is what the famous chef Jamie Oliver advises. The rind will remain in the press and the garlic will be squeezed out. Or you can clean it with a knife if you only need a couple of teeth.

But it happens when you need a lot of garlic, and then you can't clean it up with a knife, especially since sometimes you come across such cloves that are very difficult to clean.

So in such cases, the microwave oven will come to the rescue. We will clean the garlic in it with a whole head, without dividing it into slices.

So, put the head of garlic in the microwave and turn it on for 10-20 seconds at high power. It is difficult to tell the exact time, because here a lot depends on the size of the head of garlic and the power of the microwave. But keep in mind that 20 seconds is the maximum time. Usually 10-15 seconds are enough.

The "bottom" of the garlic can be cut off or left.

After we take out the garlic from the microwave and it is very easy to clean it with our hands, the husk just lags behind. And by the way, do not worry that the garlic will boil and lose its properties - it is in the microwave for a little time, and remains an ordinary fresh garlic.
