I am telling you a new way of cleaning fish from scales. It's easy, quick and very simple. You only need boiling water. Also in the article I will tell you about another way my husband cleans pike, perch, tench and other "difficult" fish. Therefore, read the article carefully so as not to miss anything.
Earlier, I already wrote an article that most often I clean fish with the help of the most ordinary vegetable peeler. I remove the scales with the blunt side, it comes off very easily and quickly.
And recently I learned another way - this is cleaning fish with boiling water. Spied on this life hack in some TV show. I put the fish in the sink or bathtub, if there is a lot of it, and pour it with boiling water from the kettle. You can still add salt to the water.
After such scalding, the chushuya seems to soften and move away from the skin, therefore it is very easy to clean it off even with just your hands. But I usually use a knife or peeler. It takes me one to two minutes for one medium-sized fish.
And now I will share another way my husband cleans fish. When he visits a friend, he uses his Karcher high-pressure washer, the fish is cleaned once or twice, even the most difficult. Not a single scale remains!
These are the ways my husband and I have. Share in the comments how you clean the fish.
