Today I want to share a recipe for straws with filling, which are eaten in a matter of minutes, they are so delicious. The idea of ββthe recipe is not mine, I saw it in one of the videos from Olga Matvey, I liked it so much that I immediately decided to cook it. Today I also use boiled rice for the filling.
I add fish to the rice, cut the pollock fillet with a knife finely as much as patience allows and add the onion, chopped in mashed potatoes using a blender. The amount of fish and rice is the same. I add salt and pepper and mix well.
Next, I start preparing the dough. It is very simple to prepare, it is convenient to work with it because it is very soft and elastic, does not stick to your hands, and besides, it is also very tasty.
Ingredients: 250 ml of vegetable oil, 250 ml of water, 0.5 tsp. tablespoons of salt, 450 grams of flour.
Everything is mixed well with a spoon and then hand kneaded on a silicone mat for a minute. Then I immediately divide all the dough into portioned pieces, I get 30 pieces.
I roll out the dough as thin as possible, it turns out to be almost transparent, I spread the filling in the amount of one tablespoon on the edge and wrap it like a pancake with an envelope.
After the filling is "sealed", as Olga showed, I roll the remaining edge of the dough with a rolling pin with a rolling pin in order to make the dough even thinner. This will make the tube look like puff pastry.
This is what I do with all the dough and filling.
Before sending them to the oven, I grease them with yolk and send them to bake at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
