🖐 Today I will share my mother's recipe for cooking pollock in the oven. The whole family is visiting our parents and my mother decided on this occasion to feed us one of her specialties. This recipe is adapted for those people who monitor their blood sugar levels, so it is also suitable for diabetics, if you exclude carrots from their ingredients.
So, for cooking, you need 3 large fish, it needs to be cleaned of bones and skin, cut into small pieces. Season the finished fillet with salt and pepper to taste and cook for 15-20 minutes.
A cup and a half of barley should be sent to the bottom of the baking dish. The cereal can be replaced with boiled rice until half cooked.
Fish is sent from above to the rump. You should try to make the layer the same thickness.
A layer of "frying" of carrots and onions is laid on the fish. When frying, mom must add a little butter and salt.
At this stage, the handicap is sent to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
An important point: If during the baking process there is not enough liquid at the bottom of the form, but be sure to add a few tablespoons of hot water in order for the cereal to cook well.
In the meantime, you can prepare the last layer for the casserole.
To do this, 200 grams of grated cheese must be mixed with two tablespoons of sour cream. The resulting mass must be covered with a layer of carrots and onions and sent to the oven for another 10 minutes. As a result, the cheese crust will be more airy and tender.
