Even before the New Year, I bought squids - and somehow everything did not reach them... Today I found a very easy and simple recipe for squid salad on one of the YouTube channels.
And, having already tested the final result - that is, salad, I recommend to you, if the opportunity arises, to cook it! The salad really turns out to be very tasty, tender and cook in an instant.
Cooking ingredients:
Squid (raw) - 500-600 g
Bulb onions - 1 pc. large
Chicken eggs (boiled) - 4 pcs.
Mayonnaise for dressing
Salt, black pepper - to taste
For pickling onions: 1 tsp. l. salt and sugar, 1 tbsp. l. vinegar and boiling water
It seems to be how you need to start cooking with the main ingredient - that is, with squid, but we will deal with them secondly.
First, peel and cut a large head of onion into half rings, put it in a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of salt and sugar each, pour in vinegar and pour boiling water, completely covering the onion. Leave for marinating, about 20 minutes.
And during this time, just prepare the squid. How I do it:
Before starting to process the squid, I pour water into a saucepan and put it on fire. I wash the thawed squids well under the tap, under a stream of warm water - I remove all the insides (sometimes they come across), remove the chord and remove the dark film. The film is removed in warm water like a glove! I put the prepared squids in a saucepan with boiling water, add 1/2 tablespoon of salt, mix. I cook the squid for 3 minutes, and immediately transfer to a bowl of cold water. Here I am already removing the remnants of the film.
Then cut the boiled squid into half rings or strips.
We try to cut boiled chicken eggs like squid, something like straws.
Put squid and chopped eggs in one bowl, add the onion squeezed from the marinade here.
For dressing, put mayonnaise or replace it with sour cream. Salt a little, pepper to your liking, mix. And, we serve to the table! Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
