Hello, my name is Oksana! I am glad to greet everyone who has looked at my page. I hope the recipes I published will be interesting and useful for you - read, write comments, and of course, subscribe!

Probably everyone knows, and many cooked a liver cake made from liver pancakes with a vegetable or mushroom filling and a garlic-mayonnaise spread. The dish is simple, but still requires at least 1 hour of active time to cook.

Today I want to bring to your attention a recipe for a snack cake made from chicken liver with vegetables - and I will say that this is a simplified version of a pancake liver cake, with certain changes.

Cooking ingredients:

Chicken liver - 700 g
Onions - 500 g
Carrots - 500 g
Semolina - 100 g
Kefir (or milk) - 100 g
Mayonnaise - 150 g
Sour cream - 300 g
Egg - 1 pc.
Ground black pepper and salt - to taste
Vegetable oil for frying

Mold diameter 26 cm

Let's get started ...

I prepare the chicken liver - we cut off excess fat (if any), remove the films (sometimes the threads of the film hang down) and then rinse thoroughly. Next, grind with a meat grinder or interrupt in a chopper / blender. And, it is desirable that the consistency is very uniform and tender. First I spin the liver through a meat grinder, and then I also punch it with a submersible blender.

Now pour fresh kefir (in no case sour) or milk into a bowl with liver mass, pour semolina, salt, pepper to your liking. And, we set aside for now, at least 30 minutes - during this time the semolina should swell.

In the meantime, peel the onions with carrots - then cut the onions into half rings, grate the carrots. Fold into the pan at the same time, pour in a little vegetable oil (3-4 tbsp. l.), and fry for a while until tender. At the end, add a little salt and black pepper (or some other spices) to your liking, fry for another 2 minutes and turn off.

After half an hour, the semolina in the liver mixture will already swell enough - therefore, we take a baking dish with a diameter Lubricate 24-26 cm with a small amount of butter (or vegetable), fill in half of the liver masses.

We spread a layer of sautΓ©ed vegetables. We distribute evenly, level.

Pour the remaining liver mass on top. We send to bake in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about 20 minutes - a crust should grab on top.

At this time, mix sour cream, mayonnaise and a chicken egg in a bowl. By the way, mayonnaise can be completely replaced with sour cream.

After 20 minutes, we take out the liver cake from the oven, pour in the sour cream filling.

And, again we send it to be baked in the oven, for about another 30 minutes - the sour cream filling on top should be covered with ruddy spots. The "Tsarsky" liver cake turns out to be very tender - it reminds me of something between pudding and casserole. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!

Yours faithfully! Oksana ...
