Many housewives are thinking about how to cook a really delicious and satisfying pie from a minimum of ingredients and cheap! And, such as to feed the whole family!

Just yesterday on my channel I published a recipe for dumplings mixed with kefir. From this dough, I make delicious homemade dumplings that do not boil over and do not lose their shape.

Today I want to suggest that you make a hearty and tasty pie from such a dough, using only 200 g of minced meat, 2 potatoes and an onion in the filling.

The recipe is very simple, all products are available and always in stock. And, the cake turns out to be really tasty, and if in doubt... Cook, try and then evaluate!

Cooking ingredients:

Dumplings dough (my recipe will be at the very bottom)
Minced meat - 200 g
Potatoes - 2-3 pcs. (depends on the size)
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Salt, black pepper - to taste
Greens to taste
Yolk for greasing the cake, although you can just grease it with milk or sour cream

Let's get started ...

The first step, of course, is to knead the dough, in this recipe I will skip it - since I already use ready-made doughbut the process is fixed... Just yesterday I was preparing this dough, the link will be at the very bottom.

To prepare the filling, take two potatoes, one onion, peel them - potatoes rub on a coarse grater, cut the onion into thin half-rings / quarter-rings, or simply cubes.

We add these vegetables to the ready-made minced meat, salt and pepper to taste, and you can add any greens - fresh or dried, and add some spices at your discretion. We mix everything.

Now, we roll out the ready-made dough on the working surface of the table, sprinkling it with a little flour, thin enough - like on dumplings... We distribute the prepared filling over the entire surface.

Twist tightly with a roll, pinch all free seams and wrap it with a "snail".

Transfer the prepared cake to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or into some suitable baking dish. Lubricate the top with whipped yolk, or just milk. And we send to bake in the oven ...

The pie is baked at a temperature of 180 degrees - 40-45 minutes. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
