I propose a recipe for filled potato pies. The pies are very satisfying and tasty, with a crispy top and a juicy filling inside, it is not at all difficult to cook them, and it turns out a lot. Cook with me!

Ingredients:

Potatoes 1kg
Salt 1 tsp
Water

The potatoes must be peeled, boiled and poured. You can also boil the potatoes in their skins, and peel the cooled ones and mince them.

Step # 2

Filling for pies:

Chicken fillet 200g
Mozzarella cheese 150g
Onion 0.5 pcs
Canned cucumber 1pc
Sweet pepper 0.5 pcs
Satsebeli sauce 3 tbsp (or ketchup + spices and herbs to taste)
Salt to taste
  • Boil chicken fillet in salted water, let cool and chop finely into pieces.
  • Finely chop the onion, canned cucumber, bell pepper.
  • Add Satsebeli sauce or can be substituted for ketchup by adding spices to taste (dried basil, dill, garlic, thyme, coriander) or cooked
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, but you may not add
  • Grate mozzarella on a coarse grater.

Step # 3

We form pies

Make a potato tortilla while warm, spread the mozzarella and top with the filling. Fold in half and pinch the edges. Shape the patty.

Step # 4

Fry pies in breaded vegetable oil

Flour 100g
Eggs 6pcs
Breadcrumbs 150g
Corn flakes without sugar 100g
Vegetable oil for frying 300ml
  • Mix breadcrumbs with crushed cornflakes, but you can only use crackers
  • Dip the pie in flour
  • Then in an egg and breading, and again an egg, and breading
  • Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry on both sides until golden brown.

Put the finished cakes on a paper towel to remove the remaining fat.
