Baking from yeast dough for EASTER (basket and larks)

Soon a bright spring Easter Holiday! I offer some edible and creative ideas to complement the Easter yeast dough table! Together with me, cook a basket of yeast dough, as well as funny birds (larks), simply and deliciously!

You can make yeast dough using this recipe.

or take your favorite sweet pastry recipe.

For the basket you will need:

yeast dough
egg to grease before baking
vegetable oil
heat resistant cookware
foil
toothpicks

Wrap a heat-resistant form with foil and brush with vegetable oil.

Roll out the dough and cut into strips 1cm wide.

Move the stripes onto the mold.

Press the bottom of the cup over where the dough is intertwined, when the basket is turned over, it will be stable.

Then thread the strips in a circle in a checkerboard pattern to the edge of the form.

From the strips, make braids for the handle and the rim of the basket (the inner part of the rim diameter should be equal to the diameter of the mold)

Move the handle to the tin with foil, and the rim circle to the baking sheet with parchment paper.

Grease all elements with an egg and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees until cooked (20-30 minutes), the baking time depends on the oven.

For the birds you will need:

yeast dough
egg to grease before baking
carnation

To make a bird, roll up the flagellum, tie a knot, shape the beak and tail of the lark. Make eyes out of a clove.

Grease the birds with an egg and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees until tender (20-30 minutes), the baking time depends on the oven.

Basket elements (handle and rim) are connected with a toothpick.

Funny edible birds and a basket are ready :)
