Homemade pizza with thin yeast dough tastes better than in a pizzeria. You can choose the filling for pizza according to your taste. This pizza recipe is my family's favorite.

The pizza dough can be prepared in a sponge and non-steam way. If you are confident in the quality of the yeast, then you can knead the dough right away using a dry method and leave it in a warm place to increase in volume..

Ingredients for the dough:

Flour 500g
Water 250ml
Dry yeast 5-6g (or fresh 15-20g)
Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons

If you are using fresh yeast, then we dilute them in warm water, and then add all the other ingredients.

Safe way.

I mix 500 g of flour and dry yeast. I add salt, sugar to warm water of 30 degrees, and then mix with flour and yeast. I leave it for 30-40 minutes in a warm place or at room temperature to increase in volume.

Sponge way.

I mix 200-250g of flour and dry yeast. I add salt, sugar to warm water of 30 degrees, and then mix with flour and yeast. I leave it for 15 minutes in a warm place or at room temperature. The dough should rise with a hat, which means the yeast is fresh and the pizza will turn out with a bang!

I add vegetable oil and the rest of the flour to the risen dough. I knead the dough with my hands for 5-7 minutes and put it in a warm place so that the dough doubles in volume.

When the dough increased in volume, I knead it, it became elastic and soft, rolls out well and does not stick to my hands. I divide the dough into 2 parts. Sprinkle the work surface with flour, roll out a circle with a diameter of 32 cm. I get 2 pizzas, but can be rolled into 3 thinner circles.

You can take any filling to your liking.

Ingredients for the Filling:

Tomato sauce or ketchup 150 g, you can also take homemade ketchup
Mozzarella cheese for pizza 400g
Smoked sausage 300g
Sweet pepper 1 pc.
Champignons 4 pcs.
Olives 10-15 pcs.
Canned cucumber (salted) 2 pcs.
Thyme 0.5 tsp
  1. Grease the dough with ketchup, sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese for pizza

2. I put sausage slices and chopped champignons on top.

3. Also chopped bell peppers, cucumber and olives. Sprinkle some more mozzarella cheese.

4. Sprinkle with dried thyme (highly recommend, the taste is amazing :), I send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Look for readiness in appearance and in your oven; baking times may vary.

If you wish, you can decorate the finished pizza with arugula sprigs, it will also add flavor and aroma. Bon Appetit everyone!
