When choosing recipes for the New Year, I very often come across all sorts of options for our Olivier salad on foreign sites. In each country they add something different, but they always call it Russian salad. Today I am sharing one of my favorite options for imported Olivier!
Ingredients
- 1/2 part chicken breast
- 3 pcs pickled cucumbers
- 3 pcs eggs
- 1/2 part purple onion
- 1 pc bell pepper (red)
- 50 gr green olives
- 1 can of canned peas
- 40 gr mayonnaise
- 40 gr sour cream
- 1/2 tsp table mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt, black pepper
How to cook
All the ingredients for the salad are on the table; preparation will take a few minutes.
First of all, let's prepare the dressing sauce. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice and salt (a pinch) with pepper.
Then everything is according to the classics, we cut the products into small cubes and send everything into a large cup. Only cut the olives into slices, and leave the peas as they are. For cooking details, see the short video recipe
Season with sauce and mix well. It turns out delicious, interesting and easier than with potatoes. Try to cook, then write how you like! source
